Today I finished my first ever #5k. I was one of those kids who was so completely uncoordinated that it was even a long shot for me to get the participation medals because I lacked the confidence to even get on the court in the first place or jump off a diving board. I found myself getting so emotional today that I had set a fitness goal (no matter how small it was) stuck to it and completed it all the way to the finish line.
