Last year I had the honor of attending the @oneyoungworld Summit in Bangkok, an event that gathers together some of the brightest young people from around the world to tackle some of the most important issues of our time -- from poverty and climate change to terrorism and gender equality.  It was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever been a part of. Those conversations changed my life and motivated me even more in the fight for equal play. Sadly, as a result of my surgery, I couldn’t attend this year’s event happening right now in Ottawa and I’m missing all the brilliant people I got to meet last year. Thankfully the entire summit is being live streamed so I can still be part of these powerful discussions and stay connected as I’m home recovering.  If you want to be inspired, please take break in your day to check it out.
