As many have already heard, #HandofGod Season 2 will be the last. I won’t pretend I’m not disappointed. When you invest blood, sweat and tears into a creative pursuit and join forces with a group of talented people who put their time and energy into a shared vision and the result is a story that resonates with so many people, you can’t help but be sad when you know that journey is over. But my sadness is drowned out by the overwhelming pride and gratitude I feel right now. I am so intensely proud of the show we produced. In an age when the drama landscape is dominated by spin-offs, adaptations and re-treads, we created something completely original. We took risks, pushed the envelope, and yeah, we pushed a lot of buttons along the way. We refused to settle for the low hanging fruit. Instead, we swung for the fences and the result was exhilarating and magical. I am deeply grateful for the incredible cast and crew who are responsible for that magic. I have never been part of a more fulfilling collaboration. I have never had a more satisfying creative experience. Anyone can punch a clock, but I had the pleasure of sharing this ride with amazingly talented people who put their hearts and souls into their work. Because of them, we have a show that I know will stand the test of time. I am honored to have witnessed it, much less participated in it. Most of all, I want to thank the legions of fans who love and support HAND OF GOD. For every naysayer who took pot shots, there were thousands of fans who enjoyed and celebrated a show that refused to play it safe. I cannot truly express how grateful I am for that love and support. I can say that I am delighted that you can look forward to ten more episodes of Hand of God. I can't wait to share Season 2 with you all. Much love. Much respect. Many thanks. -- BW #DoTheWriteThing #DreamCheck #GoHOGorgohome ™@_benipedia_
