I opened my drawer today and found this. The script from the episode of Roadies where I played guitar and SANG for the first time on camera (Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd). Everyday I woke up and went to set and I would discover something new about myself. I literally learned how to become happy again while I was shooting Roadies, and I made life long friends that I still talk to everyday. I understand we are in an age of dragons and social media, but the characters on this show were REAL, and that's what I loved about it. I played "Wes", and everytime I watch "Wes" I'm like who the fuck is that, cuz I haven't seen myself that vulnerable EVER, but that's what I like about it. The show let us be who we really are deep down. Thanks for that outlet Cameron. and if this truly is goodbye to the show (@showtime @sho_roadies ITS NEVER TOO LATE FOR A SEASON TWO!!!!) then I would like to end it on this: Rock and roll saved my soul, and I'm not scared to acknowledge REALITY in a day and age of fantasy. ???? thanks to the cast and crew, and thanks to the fans that soaked in the moments...the Show will never leave my spirit ?❤️ one more Wespresso for the road ☕️
