Visiting Senderos De Paz today - a school built in 1981 by an impoverished teenager who hoped to prevent other kids from having the unfortunate childhood that she had. Many of these kids come from severely abusive homes and are prostituted out at very young ages. Coming to this school changes their lives - partly because it's often the only safe place they experience but also because they take computer classes. Thanks to the computers that @orphanedstarfish donates to the school these kids will have access to the internet and the chance to develop the necessary skills to have a career when they graduate. Before Orphaned Starfish started this program, the girls who were too old to stay here had no other opportunities besides prostitution. #makeadifference #breakthecycle #changealife #building #careers
