You guys!!! Beginning September 24, the 17th Conference of the Parties (CoP7) to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) will meet in South Africa. That is when two critical proposals around renewing ivory and rhino horn trade will be voted on: a proposal submitted by Zimbabwe and Namibia to essentially lift the countries’ ban on ivory sales and one from Swaziland that would allow the country to renew its trade in rhino horn.
