"My practice is largely informed by growing up in the Internet age," said Austrian photographer @albdorf – who, earlier this evening, was crowned the winner of the ING Unseen Talent Award 2016 @unseenphotofair in Amsterdam. "Though Austria has an interesting photography scene, the Internet gave me access to art and artistic communities from all over the world," he added. This motivation is reflected in his spellbinding diptych, pictured above, which was inspired by falling in and out of love and was articulated digitally in his studio. "I wanted to create images that could be thought of as actual factual documents of love, albeit revealing their constructed nature on a closer look," he explained of the works.
