I grew up in Illinois in a small farm town where my graduating class only had 85 people. At 16 my mother was diagnosed with a mental disorder and at 18 I came out to my parents. I received a full ride at UIC to be a doctor and run track, which turned out neither were my true passions. I bought a one way ticket to LA when I was 19 and slept on couches and worked as a telemarketer to try and get my head above water. The reason I share this is because this morning I woke up down, I had lost sight of everything and every moment that lead me here. We all have so much to be grateful for, and our lives can change or be yanked away at any moment. It's very important to be present and remember you're always, always exactly where you're supposed to be✨
