At a time when the national narrative has shifted to the more PC, "all lives matter," it makes me wonder about the true value of a man's life -- particularly if the course of that life can be so summarily altered in a single shot.
Where is the duty to protect and serve if an unarmed man can be killed at the roadside by a police officer-- while committing no crime? What is the measure of that man? Where is the equality of that life?
What will be the course of action for this black life, if all lives truly matter?
What will we do about seeking justice for Terence Crutcher killed so senselessly in Tulsa?
Will we be moved to action, or will we continue to question those kneeling at the singing of the national anthem each Sunday afternoon...if all lives matter?
If all lives mattered we would all be as outraged as I am at the callous taking of yet another life.
And we would not rest until justice is served on behalf of another mother's son killed on American soil without the benefit of a cause that would render this death noble. #terencecruthcher #prayers ????????
