In my work I am always moving between mediums. I often trace drawings on the computer and then retrace them from printouts...I don't even know if the work gets better, in most cases I am just trying to maintain what I liked about a rough sketch... Yet, I realized long ago that (for me) the experience of making something is the thing... Not the thing itself... this is the original painting on paper for the New Yorker piece...
