In 1933, Albert Einstein left Nazi Germany, boarded the Red Star Line, docked at Ellis Island, moved to the great town of Princeton, NJ, and called the United States home. On January 15, 1936, Einstein submitted his Declaration of Intention to become a US citizen. And it was on October 1, 1940 that Dr. Einstein, alongside 87 other immigrants, was officially sworn in as a US citizen. #CitizenshipDay
