I missed Harlow's first day of preschool because Mike and I take turns with who takes who (Mazzy and Harlow go to school on opposite sides of town). That morning, Mike had a meeting near Harlow so as much as it killed me, it made more sense for me to take Mazzy. Then I missed Harlow's second day because I had a shoot early in the morning and Mike had to take both kids. But the good thing is, Harlow separates much better from Mike than me and the transition to school went much smoother than if I was there, I'm sure. I finally got to take Harlow the third morning and she did amazing. Walked in, signed her name and after a tight hug, a kiss and love pats, went off to an activity table with another kid with no tears at all.
