I never saw her pain
She was a girl of dreams
The smile painted on
Though ripping at the seams

Facade with mask she hid
Even tiny tears
Ran and kept on running
Alone she faced her fears ~
A lesson slowly learned
A vow then to be free
Discovered through the hate
That Love is all you need

But where is this love
When all around seems dark

Drowning in the muck
Running through the fire
Running from her luck

She told not that to many
Her deepest darkest thoughts
For fear of weakened knees
Further weakened would be caught

Dropping to a ground
Collapsing neath the weight
A loveless, lightless, cold, hard world
Filled most with rageful hate

But then she saw a flower
This girl with little hope
Reminded of such beauty
Allowed her world to cope

Fore flowers grow from dirty soil
And push then through the earth
Her hope restored to be once more
Survivor of life's mirth
