In the past I've been lucky. I rarely suffer from artist block. Last week, however, was an exception. I spent day after day, pencil in hand, staring at blank pages and half cooked scribbles, trying to get some work down for a new project. Instead I made countless iTunes playlists and got continually distracted by Facebook videos of cute pets doing dumb things and montages of people falling over (which was actually pretty entertaining). Finally, I gave in and just started drawing for myself. It's nothing like what I'd intended to draw but I'm happy with where it's headed. Feels good to be productive again and now I have a bunch of new playlists to work too! ✍??
