I visited the 9/11 memorial earlier this year. It had just rained covering the streets. The sun came out with the light bouncing off the wet concrete creating a peaceful and beautiful glow.
In a place where so much horror occurred the feeling of unity and calm came over me in that moment as I was reflecting upon that very sad day.
To all family's who lost their loved ones, the first responders and the people who were still there long after helping to rebuild. My heart goes out to you on this day.
