I believe we owe it to our youth and to ourselves and especially to the victims, families and first responders to keep the memory of the Sept 11th attacks top of mind most days, but most especially on the anniversary. It was a date that changed our country, changed our view of the world and most importantly changed our attitude. I remember the months that followed there was a special sort of renewed patriotism as we all held loved ones closer, spoke a little kinder to strangers while feeling extremely vulnerable. We all suddenly had a common enemy which made our political views and our petty problems disappear temporarily. Maybe tomorrow we can all try to rekindle that feeling as we remember those we lost in those senseless attacks. Tell someone tonight that you love them and hold them a little closer and promise to try a little harder in the next year to be an example of love and not hate. #neverforget #sept11
