It is hard to imaging that is has been 15 years (on Sunday) since the events of 911.
For those of us in NYC those days will not be forgotten, for that matter most people around the globe will not forget.
I have never spent that much time looking into the photos that I made on that day (I have had a few published frequently) but the bulk of the film has remain for the most part unedited.
I have started to look into the rolls of slide film that I shot that day. I do like this picture of Alexis Pappas, of Astoria Queens, who
is writing in the dust of one of the fire trucks that was damaged in the collapse of the #TwinTowers. The gentle nature of leaving a
message of love and respect for the fire fighters who were lost still hits me hard. This photo was never been published until now.
