"When I was sixteen or seventeen, I broke my neck snowboarding, leaving me with a partially paralyzed and mostly numb left arm. In the ten or so years since, I've tried my best to not be limited by the accident, but have run into a few things--like rock climbing--that have for obvious reasons, proven difficult. But, after six pitches of Teton 5.8 trad (climbing jargon for "being really high up and trying not to fall").
