Today is #NationalThreatenedSpeciesDay, which marks the death of the last remaining Tasmanian Tiger in 1936. We're working hard to ensure other species like this little Plains-wanderer don't suffer the same fate. This is one of five chicks to have hatched at Taronga this year, as part of a joint project with the Office of Environment and Heritage that is seeking to bring this endangered species back from the brink of extinction.
