@DoSomethingForNothing Update || In less than 6 months, over 100 MILLION people have been exposed to the #DoSomethingForNothing movement. What started in #London and the UK is now stretching to the 4 corners of the earth. People from all different ages and cultures are taking inspiration from the movement and bringing unconditional love to people in ever increasing new ways. It's incredible. ?? Thank you to everyone who has been sharing the news articles on social, and also sharing their own stories on #DoSomethingForNothing. ❤️ . This is David, 53 years old. He approached @JoshuaCoombes as he was packing his things up for the day, but Josh couldn't resist his warm smile and the chance to hear his story. David is #Ethiopian, born there before moving to Denmark when he was a teenager. After losing his job and not being able to support himself he decided to come to London for a new start, hoping to work and to eventually return home to re-build a life he left behind. Unfortunately things haven't been as easy as he thought here. After a few weeks in a hostel, homelessness was reality - 'I just want to work, I have been looking for something in a warehouse but no luck yet.' David speaks English well, along with Danish, Swedish and Oromo (Ethiopian dialect). He is certainly a man who seems to need a break. Josh enjoyed chatting to him as the sun shone down, and wished him well. He told him he'd keep an eye out for jobs etc, and in the meantime, he is now his hairdresser. #DoSomethingForNothing ❤️
