The @afropunk festival, now in its 12th year, has grown from a celebration of black culture — film, music, dance, skating and visual art — into a movement. That’s not to mention that, in recent years, @afropunk has also turned into something of a fashion show. The photographer @deidre captured this duo, sporting neon hair to match their ensembles, while on assignment for @nytimesfashion this past weekend at Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
