I believe in beauty in all of its facets. Music is the bridge between matter and the void. Its right between the two worlds. After sound, the world stops. Here, you can listen to music, you can touch it, not with your hands, but with your whole body (Just stand in front of a speaker in a club and you'll realize what I mean). And the incredible thing is that you can't grab it. There's no control against sound. And music wakes up memories sleeping in you from millions of years ago. The whole evolution of the Universe is hidden inside of everyone of us sleeping in what people call the subconscious. So when Music hits us, each sound awakes some of these memories. And just like the Universe, Music keeps evolving. And when one finally wakes up completely from this "subconscious" dream, one literally comes to the verge of sound and silence. In Zen, that last sound has the name "AUM", based on how that last sound sounded thousands of years ago, and past that "AUM" there's Nirvana, Eternal Silence. And finally, one is awake. The word Buddha means "The Awakened One". The word Christ comes from the word Krishna, just look at the etymology of it, and Krishna also means the awakened one. And just like everything else, that "AUM" sound has evolved, it is not longer "AUM", most meditators will go crazy when they read this, but not until they jump from the known into the unknown, and then unto the unknowable, will they understand these words...
