Please sign this petition! I am an alum of LAGUARDIA HIGH SCHOOL OF THE PERFORMING ARTS and they are trying to change the way kids get in to the school. They want to base the entry on academic testing. This is UNFAIR. Talented people operate on a different frequency than intellects. Creative people are intelligent and intellects are creative but we serve two different purposes and should be tested different. I was fortunate to excel in the arts and academia but not every child can do both. I am a voice for this young artist and we need to keep the testing special.
