There are two ways to enter Carlsbad Caverns: an elevator, or zig zag down 800ft. into the caves. I chose the hike, and I would absolutely recommend it. Watching the light disappear on the descend down, and feeling the temperature slowly drop is a pretty cool experience. You might still be able to catch my Instagram Story from yesterday's cave adventure.
