I got to go see Sonos' anechoic chambers. Anechoic chambers are rooms designed to be perfectly silent an have no reverb or resonance at all. It is so disorienting to be in place like this that most people start to go a little crazy after a few minutes. Also, the floor is a giant trampoline (so that they can put absorption tiles below it).
