Today on @Elbi we are celebrating Paralympians from all over the world and I would like to join by celebrating Russian athletes who have been cast aside by International Paralympic Committee following recent dopping scandal. No matter what happened, let's remember who these people are - a true role models to us all, who go on no matter what and never give up. And I am sure this time again they will show us what is a true dignity and a true spirit. I happen to have met some of those incredible people in person and have heard their stories and I am devastated that my friends from team Russia will miss the Upcoming Games. It's not my place to question court decisions however I do believe that punishing one country's team we have punished the whole movement as I know that many para-athletes from all over the world are sad for their Russian friends. The founding principles of Paralympic Games are based on celebrating the spirit and I invite you all to celebrate with me the inner strength and light of all Russian Para-athletes and with our support to remind them that we are with them and that they don't seize to inspire us. #paralympics #rio2016 #elbi #every1counts
