Un officier de police zimbabwéen s'apprête à donner un coup de matraque à un manifestant, à Harare, le 17 août. Des heurts ont éclaté entre des manifestants pacifistes et la police suite à l'émission par la banque centrale du pays de billets d’obligation. Depuis le début des années 2000, le Zimbabwe est plongé dans une grave crise économique et le gouvernement a accru la répression contre les voix qui réclament le départ du président Mugabe.
