Good morning, everypawdy. ❤️ Do you remember Sammy, the handsome and affectionate community cat from the video I posted awhile back that we all fell in love with? Well, my friend and I found him yesterday with a wound on his shoulder, presumably from a fight. You can see this is the wound after I cleaned it up, and this is his second serious one in about as many weeks. You also probably know me well enough by now to know that I can't just do nothing... And so this is my plan.
I'm asking around to see if any of my friends can help transport him to my house (I can't afford the cab fee as I'm broke and currently waiting for PayPal to transfer what's left of the #?SquadFund donations to my bank) and I will shelter him until his neutering, which will be late August or early September according to our SPCA, that cover the cost of his surgery.
Because I'm still looking for a home for Molly (#Molly?Squad) and therefore out of room to put Sammy up, I will most likely have to use part of the donations to buy a small cage for him to stay in before and after his neutering, and I will also need to have him vetted and checked for FIV/FeLV for the safety of the other cats.
