Still thinking about these fabulous people and the incredible experience of filming Season 3 of @carmillaseries this year. I really felt the importance of COLLABORATION this time around...we had such an incredible team of hard working and positive people all working together and keeping this crazy ship smoothly sailing through some turbulent waters. 200+ pages in 5 days, some episodes shot in one take, everyone on a time limit, and everyone wanting to put their best foot forward...I forgot how demanding a shoot like this can be and I have so much respect for everyone involved. A director with a clear vision who still allowed room for play, producers who care so deeply about what is being made, an art department that had sleepless nights to create a magical set in the middle of an empty room, an incredible 1st and 2nd AD who created a well run and supportive environment, script supervisor who multitasked so many things my head would explode, the brilliant actors around me who I learn so much from, an awesome DOP, I'm missing so many people and there's too many to name here but EVERYONE involved...each department worked tirelessly and passionately with the time they had and, because everyone was working towards a greater goal, some beautiful moments were born this season. I felt in harmony with others, no one was demanding to sing their tune the loudest. I know it sounds cliche, but I am truly so grateful for the experience and I really fell in a new love with the series this year. So proud of everyone and I can't wait to take what we created and share it with you all. ❤️
