Children wait outside a health center to be vaccinated against measles in #Ethiopia’s Tigray Region. A measles immunization campaign was carried out in April with the aim of vaccinating 25 million children aged 6 months to 15 years in the most drought-affected areas. The drought and food shortages have caused a rise in malnutrition rates, and children who are malnourished are more susceptible to measles. @unicefethiopia supported the Ethiopian Ministry of Health’s campaign including by providing vaccines. #vaccineswork #ElNino
