Louis Vuitton front man @ニコラ・ジェスキエール (with the help of casting director extraordinaire Ashley Brokaw) has the Midas touch when it comes to launching the most distinct and buzzed-about models in the industry.
So it's no surprise Nicolas and company jetted down to Rio de Janeiro with the latest cool crew of ladies in tow to unveil his new cruise collection. Sixteen-year-old Romanian Alexandra Micu walked her first Louis Vuitton show earlier this year and is quick to call out what sets the Vuitton models apart. "The girls are more confident with their walk and their look, embracing the thing that makes them unique and using it to give personality to the outfit they are wearing," says the beauty, who credits Nicolas with choosing models who own their individuality. French 17-year-old Lea Holzfuss notes, "He has taught me what style is about. I'm learning how to dress." After what she calls her fashion debut—strutting the catwalk in two shows in Paris and one in Palm Springs, California for the brand notes — Viviane Oliveira, 25, has now come full circle, with Nicolas having staged his sporty chic runway presentation in her native country. “The Brazilian energy was indescribable," she says.
