Put your claws in the air for Friday! ? This peculiar looking critter is a Mount Lewis Spiny Crayfish, which is native to the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area of @tropicalnorthqueensland. You can spot these crustaceans in flowing mountain streams and creeks – they’re usually out and about during the day, so just look for their bright blue and red markings. This lush, rainforest-clad part of @queensland is chock-a-block with native wildlife; in fact, it's one of just 35 internationally recognised biodiversity hotspots in the world.
