Good morning! How is everyone today? I'm still adjusting and finding my flow after an epic weekend at the DC Pen Show. It's hard to come back to normal life after an experience like that. Oh and I discovered that once you have one nib customized, you want ALL of them customized. Especially if you're lucky to have @thenibsmith work on yours. I cleaned and flushed all of my pens last night and the first one I inked up this morning was the Montegrappa Fortuna Copper Mule with KWZ Honey (available at @justvanness) and I still can't get over how SMOOTH this custom MCI nib grind is. It's smoother than some stub nibs that I've tried! Massive props and thanks to @thenibsmith for making the impossible happen with one of my favorite pens. ✨ •
In my quiet space earlier, I decided to pen some lyrics from @matrimonyband (think rock & roll, moxie & soul all in one) in my B5 @leuchtturm1917 that fits perfectly in one of my favorite #edc leather covers made by @galen_leather. Other must-have daily staples: my traveler's notebook and Tomoe River inserts handcrafted by @fountainpenday; Ballast Trafalgar Automatic Mechanical Watch available at @chatterleyluxuries; and my awesome black pocket reporter-style notepad from @nockco (amazing with fountain pens).
