#GirlsBehindTheLens: Bella Newman @lafillebella is a 17 year old photographer (mostly) based in Pennsylvania and one of our fave's here @girlgazeproject.
Photography started naturally for her. "I grew up surrounded by cameras and would snatch them from my dad since I was 10 inches tall. Cameras just became easy communicators for me amongst all types of art." Bella says her artistic style cannot be mapped because her inspirations change all the time, "My art are the things I think about most, the things I desire and the things that I like." Best piece of advice she's been given? "Bring your camera to the grocery store." The best piece of advice she can give to budding lady photographers? "Your subjects are your pawns and the camera is your scepter, you can be merciless and manipulative." Recently, Bella had the opportunity to shoot for @Teen Vogue after getting the most votes from the Girlgaze Committee. "Girlgaze has helped me to feel much stronger in my identity as an artist.
