Causation or correlation? You decide. Saw an ant on my window, just winding and weaving his way up the glass to a certain shadow that I imagine he had his sights set on. So, I stared. Just stared. BUT, with an intensity that projected a demand that only the order of Hymenoptera could interpret and understand. For a brief moment he hesitated, and I could sense in him a denial of my values compressed with a disrespect for any creature that can barely lift his own body weight. But then he froze. He didn't move at all. I focused that pupil & leaned in a bit closer to make sure... just before he fell off that glass & hit the floor. Upside down and still, with a bent and floppy left antennae. The vagabond was Dead. Old age, or just a powerful thought from the top of the food chain? Even he doesn't know. See? His CHCs had lied. I wasn't a friend at all. #LifeAntennae
