People often seem to delusion themselves, not realizing who they are and why they came to our planet. We create illusions, surround ourselves with them, then believe in them and often suffer from our own beliefs, because not always can find their base and roots… Sometimes we may even follow not our own, but someone else’s illusions for a whole life. I would like to share one parable with you I’ve heard from my guru.
Once upon a time there was a giant-wizard, who had a big cattle of sheep. Every day he had to catch one sheep and eat it. That wasn’t an easy process for him, as every time he was trying to catch one, the rest of them were fleeing different directions and he was spending ages to bring all of them back together again. One day he came up with an idea! He spoke with every single sheep convincing each one of them that it’s very valuable and special for him. To one of them he said that it is not a sheep at all, but a shepherdand it has to keep an eye on the rest of the cattle; another one he made believe that it was a wolf, therefore, it must keep the rest in awe; others were convinced that they are humans…. He created an illusion for every single one. Every day the giant would call one of the sheep for a chat and eat it. When one of the sheep would become suspicious and try to share the thought with others, the cattle would grass it up and the ‘clever’ sheep would be eaten the same day…
