Dr Sebi. *Sigh*.....this one hurts man. Shortly before her passing Lisa Left Eye Lopez came to visit our soundcheck in Atlanta late 2001. She was hanging in the soundbooth but even from my drumset I barely recognized her. I couldn't call it but she had this..."Glow"--- I hit up my man Kelo who was standing next to her to verify if that was indeed her. He did. I just couldn't call it, she looked friggin...regal. We chopped it up and she told me (first time I heard about) about Dr Sebi. She also spoke of how herbs and meditation and a raw diet can work miracles. I mean I know that when most people talk this stuff they are all cynic smurf and feel like some placebo syndrome talk is going on. It wasn't until 2008 that I started to see and recognize why meditation was important (someone gave me the apple rainbow wheel/refresh/force quit/restart analogy and I saw it clear as day---must start deep breathing every morning) long story short she credited Dr Sebi and his clinic in Honduras with her transformation. She wasn't the only one, I've spoken to former drug addicts, those afflicted with every type of affliction all singing his praises. I'll admit based on his videos on YouTube I expected him to live to be 100+ but if I learned anything in 2016? The time is now, whether we expect it or not. So much regret for not making the time to visit him when I had the opportunity to. rest in power to #DrSebi.
