Meet Dixie... As much pain as my mom has suffered lately, we've been praying for a surgery date as soon as possible to fix her neck. Our little Catahoula Lab mix has not left her side, and has become a huge help in easing her anxiety and knowing when she's needed without us having to ask her. I love this little dog so much, but have never been more impressed with her new demeanor and strong will to be in the house while my mom is in pain. She's had no training to be an assistance animal, but I swear she's so intuitive and gentle, you'd think she has been doing it her whole life. Thank you for your help yesterday Dixie, you mean everything to our family. ??
