Funny little story... I went to a modeling agency when I was 23. I wasn't a natural model at all. I walked into my interview excited and curious. They immediately shot me down saying, "You're too short, not skinny enough and too old." At 23 years old, just having lost my family to a religious cult, with no real idea why I even went to the interview, I was shocked and devastated. I think at the time I was seeking a hobby and something to pursue. I was seeking some form of acceptance. It wasn't until 5 years later that I found fitness which became my therapy, my control and my happiness. It's pretty funny because I am now 7 years older, probably 10 lbs heavier and not any taller 😂. Do not give up on your first try. Instead, seek the journey of why you sought something out in the first place. You don't need the acceptance of someone or an agency to tell you how you should be. Create your own path. Be true to you. And be thankful for the ups and downs. They make you stronger and keep you humble. If everyone says yes to you, you'll never grow. Stay strong, my beauties!
