#tbt 12/3/85 We had been living in our own Section 8 apartment for almost 6 months. Tremaine was just a year old. He hadn't even been given his nickname, Trey, by his Gramma Ann nor had he had his first haircut. I had graduated high school, was just about 18 1/2 years old; but was waiting to start college in the Spring. I didn't want to miss any of his first year milestones. The struggle was real. There were some really tough days, but who knew how well it would all work out. As @トレイ・ソングス predicted - "Through adversity I shine, like a motherf^cking star!"
