They became the only undefeated team in Group A thanks to a 72-68 win over Algeria in a tightly contested game. The West Africans had Ousmane Traore and Ibrahim Doumbia to thank for a dominant presence in the paint. Meanwhile, Algeria proved a tough opponent to beat.
