Being raised by two immigrant parents can cause life lessons to be thrown at you fast, forcing one to be very aware of their surroundings. With all that's happening in the world , news about the injustices towards people of color gets less and less shocking to the point of it being regular and I'm way passed heartbroken. The world needs unity across races, ethnicities, and nationalities before we end up destroying each other and the ideal we call humanity. Fear mongering people are zeroing in on certain races and religions, using them as scapegoats for the worlds issues instead of identifying, taking ownership, and creating solutions. It may not be something that is rectified in a day but I believe it's a goal we should all actively work on to together and work towards. Just because it's not happening to you, doesn't mean you shouldn't care and turn a blind eye. ❣"
