"I originally met @monkeymagic1111 on my first trip to Australia back in 1996 where he was skating the vert ramp at the Big Day Out music festival. He was skating with the likes of @トニー・ホーク, Renton Miller, and Tas and Ben Pappas and Jake definitely stood out. About a year or so later Jake made his way to the States and I got to see him quite often at the Encinitas YMCA vert ramp ever improving, stylish with a good bag of tricks. Fast forward fifteen years and Jake shows up at this backyard pool in Vista that was getting shredded. The day he was there I didn’t really have anything specific to shoot and he started trying backside Smith grinds over the fish on the wall and riding into the shallow end. The way he did it was so stylish and sick I’ll remember it always as one of my favorite pool photos I’ve ever shot." ?:@daveswift01 #ShootAllSkaters
