Three years ago today Djalma Santos died aged 84. The Brazilian starred for his country in four FIFA World Cups between 1954 and 1966 (a member of the All-Star team in three of them) and won the trophy twice. Sadly, the defender passed away a year before his country hosted the World Cup in 2014, but with 98 caps for Brazil he is remembered as one of the greats.
