AAHA's big day is on Friday. ????Please post photos of your kitties on your social media pages with ‪#aahaday on them and let's try to inspire American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) to make all their hospitals have the highest standard of veterinary care for ALL their animals.
When vets declaw cats, it is a very inhumane standard of surgical, medical, and veterinary care. It is wrong and has no place in a hospital that guarantees the best care for pets in North America.
Remember the 3 kitties story? ?Their first time cat owners looked online for the best animal hospital they could find. They chose an AAHA hospital.
They were actually talked OUT of using the humane alternatives by the "doctors" at that AAHA hospital. The longtime vet that did the declaws, wrapped the paws too tight to stop the bleeding from the toe amputations & it caused the tissue in their legs to die. All 3 kitties have gone through the most unimaginable suffering & had most or all of their paws amputated.
This must end and AAHA can be part of the solution to end it if they wanted to.
