A beautiful experience last night. Black HOLLYWOOD getting together to figure out what we all can do to remedy the tensions existing today in our communities and this country. How to protect our youths. How to use our voices as entertainers and act as a bullhorn for all those who do not have the power or the means to loudly articulate the frustrations of all that is happening. We must fix so much but first as individuals we must all do the internal work and fix US. We must commit to change. We must commit to CHOICE. We all commit to The CHOICE of CHANGE and we can win. We need to erase racism, prejudice and fear. We must change the legislation to make the law accountable to the law and we all be respectful to God's laws. I am not a racist because I say #blacklivesmatter and you are not wrong if u say #alllivesmatter because they all do But we are the only ones that have to constantly remind the world that our lives matter. But this kind of lack of respect for lives is trickling out. Terrorism racism and hate crimes are on the rise. Do your part in peace. Be a better human being. I am concerned for my people (not just blacks) but all human. Where are we going as a people? Your actions in positivity will inflict that outcome. I was at that townhall meeting it was beautiful, special and the first step in making a conscious choice to change. Respect and love to all those who showed up and a hand extended to anyone who wants to join. Let's bring love back and protect lives.
