First off I don't represent Ryan Dungey so in no way am I self promoting myself or him. Secondly, I have told athletes and staff not to be political or controversial on social media. So again team, do as I say not as I do. Now that I have covered that, shame on ESPN once again not honoring Action Sports Athlete of the year by giving him a moment on stage or recognizing it in broadcast like many other sports and athletes. Motorcross is a motorsport and I'm not sure why it is catorgorized as an "action sport." Having said that, Ryan helps sell out stadiums that some MLB and NFL games DON'T! He trains as hard or harder than any athlete on that stage tonight. He is as apple pie and as good of a clean spokesperson for sports as anyone, but yet ESPN who owns the XGAMES after 20 years still does not recognize such athletes or accomplishments like Ryans on stage. I have had the first and many other clients that have won an ESPY in this catagory and every year i pray it will change and it does not. I know that there are more serious issues in the world and sorry for venting, but this world (action sports) got me out of trouble, out of poverty, and gave me a life and career that I am blessed and thankful for every day. I now have the pleasure to work with all kinds of athletes in golf, football etc. but I treat them all equal because they are all special!!! I just don't get it @espn #espys i can only dream that one day ESPN you will wake up and really recognize these amazing athletes like Ryan and the others. Congrats @ryandungey you are a true athlete!
