The history of scouting in Afghanistan goes back to 1931. The Afghan Scouts grew and flourished until the Soviet Invasion of the late 70’s, when the programs ended. In 2008 PARSA initiated a campaign to support the reestablishment of the Afghan Scout Movement, which is now growing and flourishing. http://afghanistan-parsa.org/
