Museu Palais de Tokyo em Paris em colaboração com @JR. Este espaço foi usado como depósito para guardar todos pianos roubados durante a ocupação Nazista na França. Este túnel ficará desativado (por motivos de segurança) mas as obras permanecerão ali como memorial e acervo do Museu. If you are in Paris, come to the opening of the new session of the #LascoProject at @palaisdetokyo to see the short film revealing our secret installation with the @osgemeos, with a music by Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm.
During the German Occupation of France (1940-1944), the basements of the Palais de Tokyo were used to store thousands of pianos confiscated from Jews during the “furniture roundups” led by the ERR Nazi task force. With the @osgemeos, we have occupied these sites loaded with history, while deciding to work in a secret underground tunnel in the Palais de Tokyo, working on the memory of walls mingles wax light sculptures, with paintings composed using archive images and photographs, including some from an album conserved in the German Federal Archives in Koblenz. This art installation is not accessible to the public for safety reasons. It will stay there forever. Tonight, the video projection will be open to the public from 20.30 until midnight.
