What a sad few days. I try to keep my political and social commentary off of social media, but this is not ok. Rage. Shame. Disgust. Disappointment. When I see my black students- beautiful, bright, talented, ambitious and brilliant young people- brought to tears by the oppression of their people and hear them express that they don't feel safe in this country, Mama Bear gets worked up. This is not ok. The violence must stop. I am ashamed of our lack of progress. It's hard to believe, but it is real, and we need to do something about it. Devastated. #blacklivesmatter
